Why Vintage Bands Were Legendary

There are tons of people who say that the musicians back in the day were legends, and I don't disagree. Today I'm going to share my views on this topic about vintage bands.

What does Vintage mean?

Vintage simply means something of high quality from the past, the best of it's kind.

What's the difference between their time and ours?

Everyone's aware of the rapid technological developments happening in the world today.

In the earlier days, the recordings had a decent quality, but we're talking about a time when computers weren't that advanced, there was no electronic music, or auto-tune, or any of that.

The problem with today's music is, you never know whether a musician is really as good as he looks. You never know if a singer is really as good as he is. If you aren't aware of it, auto-tune can also be used in live performances. Your favourite singer might be using auto-tune, and you might not even be aware of it...unless you're a Jacob Sartorius fan. In that case, there's more of auto-tune and less of Jacob.

Back when the Beatles (no doubts here, these guys were legends) existed, technology wasn't so advanced. There was no fooling around. What you heard was what was played. Let's face the facts here: most of the musicians today, even after using so much of advanced technology and enhancing their music, are not half as good as what the vintage bands were. That's what makes the vintage bands so legendary. They did what the musicians today find difficult even with technology.

Let's study this on a deeper level

Now what I'm going to discuss here will not be understood by beginners in music. From this point onward, only the people who really understand music are going to be able to know what I'm talking about.

Although today there's a lot of amazing music being composed and a lot of talented musicians entering the music field, they somehow lack feeling in their music. There's a lot of new musicians who have feeling to their music, but there's not many of them. When you listen to music composed by the vintage bands, you can feel each and every note played on each and every instrument. Even the voice of the singer has so much feel in it. These feelings conveyed in these songs send a hidden message. These songs have emotion, and if you can receive the emotions from these songs, you realize that the song is much more than just a song. Give it a try sometime.

If you're a boy band fan, there's no way you're going to understand this. Usually most boy bands, as I've noticed, lack feel in their music. There's no meaning to most of the music today. Most of the songs today don't even tell a story. They don't have feelings. The music, if analyzed at this level, beyond the beats and the sound, has absolutely no meaning. This is the main thing that today's music lacks. This is why today's music feels empty. However, if you're one of those people who listen to only the beats of the music and choose your music based on how it sounds, you're never going to understand what I'm trying to convey in this point.

Thank you for taking out your time to read my post. Have a nice day!
